Founded in 2015, Aquatic and Environmental  Laboratory Inc. provides microbiological analysis for private citizens and businesses falling under Regulations 170/03 and/or 319/08.

Aquatic and Environmental Laboratory Inc. is a quality conscious organization and shall operate to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and quality service.

The laboratory is accredited by CALA to ISO/IEC 17025 and licensed by the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) and participates in proficiency testing programs for all parameters appearing on the scope of accreditation and licence.

  • Testing for bacteria is the only reliable way to know if your water is safe. You cannot tell by look, taste, or smell. 
• Microcystin
  • Blue-green algae are microscopic, plant-like organisms that can be harmful to both humans and animals.  
• pH
  • Water with low pH could be acidic, soft, and corrosive, while water with high pH could be considered hard. 
• Turbidity
  • The cloudiness or haziness of water caused by tiny  particles. High turbidity has the potential for interference with disinfection.
